Stewardship and Visioning Committee
The Stewardship portion of our mandate focuses on encouraging the congregation to use their time, talents and resources to support the mission and ministry of Grace United Church. Letters highlighting the activities and new initiatives of the church are sent each year.
The Visioning aspect of our portfolio leads us to explore our mission in the community. We have offered the Spirit Journey lecture series to the community at large. The lectures have featured speakers from a variety of world religions, ranging from Islam to Native Spirituality to Hinduism, with the goal of increasing awareness and understanding between faiths. Other lecture series have been on Science and Christianity,Social Justice and last year's theme was "You can make a difference".

FundScrip- raise funds at No cost!
Since November 2011, the congregation of Grace United has participated in the Fundscrip program. It is a retailer or gift card sales program
designed to operate as a fundraiser for non-profit groups. Supporters select and purchase cards from about 175 different retailers. Each retailer pays a
specified percentage of the purchase price (mostly in the 3 – 5 % range) to the participating group. Cards are received already activated and the buyer spends the full face value of the card. Our most popular cards are those for Port Dover businesses: No Frills, Esso, Home Hardware and Giant Tiger. Our group coordinators, Nancy Sherwin and Linda , can provide more information.
